Dhilipsiva Py Rs is a highly skilled and experienced Software Architect/Engineer with a passion for building (micro)services and a diverse skill set that includes Python, Rust, FOSS, WebAssembly, and distributed systems. Currently working as a Software Architect at Appknox, Dhilipsiva is also an active contributor to numerous repositories on GitHub. With expertise in a range of programming languages and technologies, including JavaScript, C, Go, PHP, Ruby, Objective-C, C#, and Java, Dhilipsiva is particularly interested in Rust programming language, WebAssembly, and distributed software. They have experience in architecting, coding, deploying, (auto)scaling, and maintaining server-side, browser-side, and infra code, and have built GraphQL, RPC, and RESTful microservices with Python and Rust, as well as JavaScript frontends with Ember and React. Dhilipsiva has also successfully scaled high-traffic web applications and deployed services on AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud, using tools such as Fabric, Docker, AWS Copilot, and Kubernetes. In addition to their technical skills, Dhilipsiva has also been a leader on small tech teams, guiding colleagues to success and fostering a positive work environment. Outside of their professional life, Dhilipsiva is constantly exploring new technologies and keeping up with the latest trends in the software engineering world. They enjoy discussing philosophy, socio-economic and political change, and tinkering with IoT and robotic projects with their kids. Currently serving as VP of Engineering at Reckonsys, a software product development firm, Dhilipsiva is tasked with standardizing the engineering process, creating cookiecutter templates for Django and React projects, writing open-source libraries, and standardizing coding practices with a focus on security, maintainability, reliability, and scalability. They have also extensively documented these tools and guidelines to make onboarding new employees easier. With a relevant experience of 12.62 years, Dhilipsiva has previously served as CTO at Nitimis, where they crafted scalable, secure, and maintainable FOSS software with Python, Rust, and WebAssembly, and helped organizations automate their QA efforts. They have also served as Tech Advisor at Spotlight & Company, a FinTech startup, where they advised and helped with all things tech.
